22章３ あなたのきょうだいの罪なきすがた

Your Brother's Sinlessness

この節は、全体が祈りの言葉のようでもあります。
ここだけを読んでも心が安らかなになるようです。

Joy is eternal.
喜びは永遠に続くものである。

You can be sure indeed that any seeming happiness
that does not last is really fear.
実際、どんなに幸せだと思えても、それが長続きしないなら、
そんな思いは、本当は恐れであることは確実である。

Reason will tell you that the only way to escape
from misery is to recognize it and go the other way.
惨めな状態から逃れる唯一の方法は、惨めであることを認めて、
方向転換することだと理性が教えてくれる。

To believe that one exception can exist is to confuse
what is the same with what is different.
例外が一つでもあり得ると信じるということは、
同じであるものを違っているものと混同することになる。
例外はひとつもあってはならない。
奇跡のコースの中で何度も繰り返されてきた言葉です。
例外はありません。人を許すとは、例外なく、自分を含めすべてを許すことです。
そうでなければ、許さないことと変わりはないのです。
この人は許せるけれど、この人はできない、という訳にはいきません。
世界に罪を見ていることになるからです。
自分で闇を信じ、つくっていることになるからです。

Behold the great projection, but look on it with the decision
that it must be healed, and not with fear.
重大な投影の結果というものをよく見るがいい、ただし恐れずに、
そこには絶対に癒しが必要だという決意を抱いて見つめてほしい。

Is it not welcome news to hear not one of the illusions
that you made replaced the truth?
あなたの作った錯覚が一つたりとも真理に取って変わってなど
いないとは、喜ばしい知らせではなかろうか。

Here is no separate will, nor the desire that anything be separate.
ここには別々の意志はなく、何一つ別々であってほしいという思いもない。

Its will has no exceptions, and what it wills is true.
その意志に例外はなく、意図することは真実である。

Every illusion brought to its forgiveness is gently overlooked and disappears.
許しを得るためにもたらされる錯覚はことごとく、
とがめられることもなくそっと消えていく。

No misery is here, but only joy.
ここには少しの惨めさもなく、ただただ喜びがある。
